Port na Craig
Port na Craig Restaurant an Inn in Pitlochry, Scotland

welcome to Port na Craig

Port -na -Craig Inn established in 1650, nearly a hundred years before the battle of Culloden. Located at the end of the Rob Roy Way ,one of Scotlands more famous walks from Drymen to Pitlochry. This ancient eating, drinking and resting place has served many and has been operated under many guises since it opened its doors to the general public way back then.

The Inn and restaurant set in the historic and beautiful hamlet of  Port-na-Craig. Simply a fantastic location, peaceful yet dramatic, stunning yet tranquil, situated on the banks of the river Tummel a tributary of the Tay . The setting makes you want to sit and watch the day go by,or relax as the salmon fisherman casts his rod.

Port-na - Craig Inn and restaurant is only a stone throw away, from the famous Pitlochry Festival theatre and a short walk to the equally famous fish ladder and dam.

Owners Richard and Angela Maloney-Drummond together with Chef/manager David Kearney. There aim is to establish the old Inn and restaurant as a place to eat and  frequent when visiting Pitlochry. Having established the Strathgarry hotel on Atholl road as an excellent Café-bar and restaurant. The team now have there sights set on opening the doors and welcoming the locals of Highland Perthshire and the many tourists who visit this part of  Scotland to share and  enjoy there hospitality, good food together with a wonderful location and warming ambience.
