  • Out in the Hills is a new LGBTQIA+ festival at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, running 16th to 18th January 2026.

    Curated by Lewis Hetherington, the three days brings together theatre, music, film, talks and exhibitions, with appearances from Ian McKellen, Graham Norton, Val McDermid, Jackie Kay and Alan Cumming. More info here but do come grab a bite to eat with us before heading over.

  • Opt to enjoy a traditional Burns Supper on Sunday 25th January, for one day only.

    A warming evening of good food and local whiskies. More details coming soon.

  • The theatre’s annual literary celebration, Winter Words, returns from 12th to 15th February. This four-day festival - the first curated by Artistic Director Alan Cumming - features author talks, live readings, performance, literary lunches and stimulating conversations.
