BREAKFAST

Start your day with breakfast at Port Na Craig Inn, whether you’re looking for a full three course breakfast or just a morning roll and coffee by the river, our breakfast experience is one in it’s own.
If you are looking to have breakfast with us, our sit down breakfast is by reservation only, please book your table up to 12 hours in advance.
LUNCH

There’s no better place to sit down and refuel than by the river watching the salmon leap. Whether you are cycling by and looking to quench your thirst with a cold Scottish beer, attending the matinee performance or celebrating something special, we have something for you. Our lunch & garden menu is served between 12:00 and 15:00 and offers a wide range of options, from small plates to a three course lunch.
Our beer garden is your first port of call when the sun comes out. We do not accept reservations outside and tables are subject to availability. That being said, there is plenty of space to sit and sip a spritz.
If you want to guarantee a spot for lunch, please make a reservation. This guarantees you a table inside, however, if you are looking to go outside, you are welcome to if space permits.
PRE THEATRE

Port Na Craig is renowned for its pre theatre dining, being a short 3 minute walk up the footpath to the theatre doors. Dinner at Port Na Craig is a collaboration of fresh local produce and our chef’s zest for creation, made to order. Whether you are looking for a three course meal paired with a bottle of wine, or a quick portion of our famous fish & chips, pre theatre dinner has never been simpler. We serve our pre theatre menu from 16:30. Most theatre performances start at 19:30 therefore we recommend you coming in as early as possible to ensure you have the time to sit and make the most of your dining experience. This tends to be our busiest time of the day therefore we recommend booking in advance to secure your table.
Please note, we do not serve any food outside between 16:30 – 18:30, if you would like to make the most of your surroundings, pop down thirty minutes early to enjoy an aperitif by the serene River Tummel or alternatively, come in for dinner earlier and have time to end your meal with a cocktail before curtain call.
Á LA CARTE
From 5pm/7pm

Served from 7pm (or from 5pm on nights without theatre), our Á La Carte menu offers a mix of comforting favourites and seasonal specials. Whether you're joining us for one of our much-loved core dishes—like the classic PNC burger—or looking to enjoy a more leisurely three-course meal, there's something to suit every kind of evening. The menu changes regularly, with new additions inspired by what’s in season and the chef’s latest picks, while still keeping the dishes our guests come back for.
Our Spaces
The Atrium
The Atrium at Port–Na–Craig is a bright, spacious dining area that was once a cobbled courtyard leading to the inn’s original entrance. Now thoughtfully enclosed, it retains its character while offering a more open setting—ideal for larger groups and special occasions. With plenty of natural light and a relaxed feel, it’s a popular choice for gatherings. While we’re happy to take requests for the Atrium, especially for group bookings, please note that during busy times we may not always be able to guarantee seating in this space.
The Garden
Overlooking Pitlochry’s River Tummel, our outdoor seating area is the ultimate sun trap on a summer’s day, the perfect spot to relax and watch the world drift by. Sip a crisp Scottish beer or a glass of Provence rosé and truly savour the reason you came to Pitlochry in the first place. While we certainly relish Scottish summers at Port Na Craig, our beer garden is a year-round delight, particularly in autumn when you can watch the leaves transform into a vibrant tapestry of colours, all while enjoying a hot toddy… or two.
The Restaurant
The Restaurant at Port-Na-Craig is our original dining space—a cosy, low-lit room full of character and warmth. With its intimate atmosphere and traditional feel, it’s a favourite spot for relaxed dinners and quieter occasions. In this room sits what we fondly call ‘Scotland’s smallest bar,’ adding a unique touch to the space and a nod to the inn’s long-standing charm.
We are dog friendly and have dogs in daily.
